Opposition Spokesman on Health and Wellness, Dr. Morais Guy has reiterated the call for Government to provide an update regarding the procurement of a genome sequencing machine to test for COVID-19 variants.
Last month, Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton announced that a genome sequencing machine was expected to arrive on the island in two to three weeks.
Dr. Guy said the machine has not yet arrived in the country.
He has also called for Dr. Tufton to disclose the number of persons who died because of an oxygen shortage, weeks ago.
