As the Jamaican dollar continues to decline, opposition spokesperson on finance, Julian Robinson is urging the government to step in, to prevent consumers from experiencing unprecedented price increases.
Noting that many persons have not yet recovered from Covid-19, Mr. Robinson says, the slide in the Jamaican dollar and increase in US oil prices, represent a crisis.
Mr. Robinson notes, that the government must act swiftly to cushion the impact.
