Louis Tomlinson has shared a heartfelt tribute to his former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, after his tragic death.
In an emotional Instagram post, Tomlinson expressed his deep grief, calling Payne a "brother" and reflecting on their close relationship.
He recalled meeting Payne when they were both teenagers during The X Factor in 2010 and praised Payne’s talent, noting his perfect pitch, songwriting ability, and strong presence in the band.
Tomlinson shared his sorrow at not being able to reunite musically with Payne, emphasizing how close they had grown since the band's hiatus. He also offered support to Payne's son, Bear, saying he would be there for him as an uncle.
Payne passed away in Buenos Aires, after a fall from a hotel balcony, with authorities investigating the incident as a “doubtful death” despite initial reports suggesting he was alone.
