Reggae/Dancehall entertainers Buju Banton and Junior Reid seem to have buried a 14-year long feud.
A video circulating online shows the two at Stone Love’s Weddy Weddy Wednesday. The DJs turned down the music as Buju called Reid to join him and bury the hatchet.
Buju admitted that the incident should not have taken place, “Junior, come een nuh. Me an yuh have a difference inna farrin weh wi shouldn’t even have”. In response, Reid said, “Wi nah no difference, you know, cause still one blood. Nobody nuh love yuh like how mi love yuh”, after which the two hugged it out.
The feud stemmed from an alleged altercation between the two at the 2008 staging of the Best of the Best show in Miami.
