Share

Oil prices fell sharply after hopes grew of a possible agreement to end the US-Israel war with Iran.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said negotiators had a “pretty solid” framework, with a potential deal expected as early as Monday.

Brent crude dropped about 5.5% to around $97.70 a barrel, as markets reacted to possible de-escalation in the conflict.

US President Donald Trump said talks were progressing but stressed that any outcome would be “a great deal or no deal at all.”
