Rapper Offset is juggling a legal headache and a real-life scare and all... in the same week?
The "Bad and Boujee" rapper reportedly told Complex Magazine that he is “working toward a resolution” after being hit with a $100,000 lawsuit tied to an alleged casino debt at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit. The claim reportedly involves an unpaid credit line.
Adding to the chaos, the lawsuit surfaced just days before Offset was shot outside a Florida casino. His team confirmed he was hospitalised, in stable condition, and being closely monitored following the incident.
Details around the shooting are still unfolding, but authorities say it started with a fight outside the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida.
Meanwhile, fellow rapper Lil Tjay, who was also present, ended up in legal trouble of his own. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, though his attorney emphasised he was not shot and is not facing any charges related to the shooting itself.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, with at least one person injured (Offset) and more potential suspects still being identified.
