Is Offset turning a new leaf?
Rapper, Offset has revealed that his new single “Move On” was inspired by his relationship with Cardi B.
In an interview with the Associated Press, the Atlanta rapper explained, “It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be. It’s all love and peace.”
"Move On" closes out the "Bad and Boujee" rapper's upcoming album KIARI, set to be released on August 22.
Offset stated: “It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
He touched on his relationship with Quavo, hinting at the possibility of a joint album as the two continue to reconnect. While no plans are confirmed, Offset admitted he’s owning up to past mistakes: “I realized I was wrong and had to get out of the way. I’m happy with everything and I want the best.”
Recently, he told "7PM in Brooklyn" that things between him and Quavo are the best they’ve been in a while: “At the end of the day, that’s family. You’re gonna bump heads with your family sometime, but ain’t nobody finna play with him or me.”
