Jamaica’s two-time World Championship finalist, Oblique Seville, stole the spotlight today by defeating Olympic champion Noah Lyles in the men’s 100m, despite heavy rain at the Wanda Diamond League meet in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Seville crossed the finish line in an impressive 9.87 seconds, marking his second consecutive victory over the American sprinter.

Lyles finished in 10.02 seconds, while third place went to Akeem Blake.

With this win, Seville now shifts his focus to the upcoming World Championships in Tokyo.
