The National Water Commission (NWC) says it will continue all field operations during the ongoing lockdown period.
This is to ensure that customers who are served by the utility company continue to have access to water and sewerage services.
The NWC says various field operation teams will remain active so that all distribution, maintenance, production and related field activities such as leak repairs are dealt with.
The commission noted that water supply is gradually being restored to communities across the island and efforts are continuing to clear blocked intakes even as the various teams monitor the impact of turbidity on several facilities.
