The National Works Agency NWA says it is looking at several measures to mitigate the effects of flooding in sections of St. James.
This as several roads in Montego Bay and other parts of the parish were flooded or damaged, following heavy rains on Sunday and yesterday (Mon).
Some of the roads which were badly affected have been cleared.
Community Relations Officer for the NWA’s western region, Janel Ricketts said the Agency is looking at both short and long term solutions.
She says the NWA is conducting a damage assessment.
