Norway topped the medals at the Beijing Winter Olympics with a record 16 medals in a 37-medal haul.
The Norwegians also won eight silver and 13 bronze to finish ahead of Germany, who tallied 12 gold, 10 silver and five bronze.
Hosts China placed third followed by the USA and Sweden with the Netherlands sixth.
