The local annual festival, Jazz and Blues will be cancelled for this year. The organizers of the event have decided to put off production as coronavirus cases continue to rise on the island.
The festival is known for having top international acts such as Billy Ocean, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and more. The festival was last held at the Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium in Trelawny.
The event has been pushed to 2023 and will celebrate the festival’s 21st staging.
