Several questions are now being asked of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) as a video posted online is stirring controversy.
In the video, Reggae Girlz Ambassador Cedella Marley is seen greeting players through a fence as they left the stadium after their first match at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
This led to several questions from local sports officials and social media users, as to why Marley, who was instrumental in the Girlz’ qualification was not provided credentials to meet and greet the team.
Both Cedella and the JFF are yet to address the situation publicly, but the incident has raised several eyebrows.
The Reggae Girls were beaten 3-0 by a strong Brazilian side in their first match at the World Cup.
