Nicki Minaj called out alleged threats and RICO-level corruption in Hip-Hop and got a swift response from Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who pledged to involve law enforcement and ensure her safety.
The rapper took to social media on Friday (July 18) after a livestream comment from Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate DJ MackWop.
Minaj interpreted the remark as a threat and demanded federal scrutiny into what she described as “shady business” in the music industry.
The two spoke privately, and Luna later confirmed their conversation publicly, saying she would do everything in her power to protect Minaj. She also addressed the broader allegations of criminal activity in the rap world.
