Five of Jamaica’s top high school track and field powerhouses Jamaica College, St Elizabeth Technical, Vere Technical, Holmwood Technical, and Herbert Morrison Technical are set to make their mark at the first-ever New York Next-Gen Invitational Relays this Saturday.
The event will take place at the stadium at Memorial Field in Mt Vernon, New York.
They’ll be joined by Grenada Boys’ Secondary School, representing the Caribbean alongside the Jamaican teams, and will face stiff competition from over 30 top high schools across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philadelphia.
This event promises to be a vibrant showcase of youth athletic talent, with Caribbean flair meeting Northeast U.S. competitiveness.
