Several fathers were awarded for their exemplary work and significant impact on their children's lives yesterday on Father's Day yesterday.
This, at the 4th staging of the Eternal Father Awards ceremony, held at the AC Mariott Hotel in Kingston.
The categories included: the Sam Sharpe Award for Exemplary Fathers of Children with a Disability, Paul Bogle Award for Mentorship/Development of Young Men among others categories.
Artiste and Producer Mr. G, received the Sam Sharpe Award for Exemplary Fathers of Children with a Disability. He expressed gratitude for the recognition.
Meantime, Shelly-Ann Weeks, Founder of the HerFlow Foundation, notes that men are making progress as it relates to being a father figures.
The Eternal Father Awards was conceptualised in 2022 by Anna Smith.
