Following a successful call by the Marabella cruise line of the Discovery 2 ship to the new Port Royal pier last week, the Port Authority of Jamaica is anticipating even greater high points with more ships scheduled to call, in the coming weeks.
The PAJ said three more calls are scheduled for the winter tourist season. One each in February, March, and April.
It is expected that the construction works on phase 1 of the new port development will be completed by the time it welcomes the last call of the season.
