Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton has sought to assure that there is an adequate supply of vaccines available, despite the need to dump thousands more today (Wed) because they have expired.
It is estimated that over one hundred thousand doses of vaccines will be discarded.
In Parliament yesterday, the Opposition raised questions about the number of vaccines in stock.
Dr. Tufton was unable to give a specific figure, but pointed out, that the Ministry will not undermine the credibility of the vaccination programme.
He said more vaccines are coming.
