Officials from the Ministry of Education will visit Louise Bennett-Coverley Primary and St. Martin de Porres Primary in St. Andrew today (Wed), to provide counselling support, following a motor vehicle accident involving several of their students yesterday.
According to reports, more than 20 children were taken to the hospital after the Hiace minibus they were travelling in crashed in Dublin Castle, Gordon Town, St. Andrew.
Parliamentary Secretary Marlon Morgan confirmed that he visited the injured students at the University Hospital of the West Indies on Tuesday evening. He noted that most of the children received treatment and were discharged, while the bus driver remains hospitalized.
