Minister for Transport, Energy & Telecommunications, Daryl Vaz has denied allegation made by Reggae Star Buju Banton, that items shipped to aid with hurricane relief efforts, were tampered with and stolen.
During a media briefing this morning on hurricane Melissa recovery, the Minister says an investigation was carried out overnight, which revealed that the items left the Norman Manley International Airport in tact, and was received by the charitable organisation it was destined for.
The Minister's response came, following a video posted by Buju Banton yesterday, expressing disappointment with airport officials who he says removed items destined for persons affected by the hurricane.

MEANTIME Buju responded via social media, sticking to his claim that the items were removed upon arrival at the airport.
