Jamaica’s Sports Minister Olivia Grange says she supports the country’s intention to host the 2022 Carifta Games but warns that will only happen once the necessary approvals and required funding are achieved.
The Ministry is therefore working very closely with the necessary authorities to satisfy all the requirements in order to make an official announcement.
Guyana, who opted out of hosting next year’s games are set to stage the 2023 CARIFTA Games.
