Cruise ship tourism is expected to see a major resurgence in a few months with at least three major cruise lines home-porting in the island.

This was revealed by Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett while making his Sectoral debate presentation in parliament Tuesday.

As of August, ships from the Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Viking cruise lines will call at Jamaica’s ports.

Norwegian will home-port in Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean will port in Ocho Rios while Viking will call at all ports along the north coast.
