Four men carried out a daring daylight robbery at the National People’s Co-operative Bank in Old Harbour St. Catherine yesterday (Thurs).
Police reports are that about 1:45pm, four men posing as customers entered the bank located at Marley Gardens.
They pulled handguns and held up staff and customers.
Police say they took 4 million 259 thousand 481 dollars from the vault.
The robbers also too the security guard’s firearm.
The men escaped through the main entrance door.
The bank is closed today (Fri).
