Mbappé Makes History with Second World Cup Golden Boot

Kylian Mbappé has become the first player to win the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot twice after finishing as the top scorer at the 2026 tournament.

The France forward scored 10 goals in eight matches, finishing ahead of Argentina's Lionel Messi, who scored eight.

Mbappé also became the men's all-time leading World Cup scorer with 22 career goals.

Meanwhile, Spain's captain won the Golden ball as the tournament's best player.
