On Thursday, the St. Andrew Parish court resorted to delay the multi-million dollar fraud case brought by dancehall artist Mavado against disbarred attorney Jennifer Messado.
The matter has been postponed until September 29.
It was scheduled for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to submit a request to the court asking for permission for Mavado, who resides in the US, to provide testimony via video link.
However, approval can only be granted if Mavado, whose given name is David Brooks, has no outstanding warrants in Jamaica.
