Masicka’s ‘Generation of Kings’ Number 1

Dancehall artiste, Masicka is breaking records again, this time with his highly anticipated album “Generation of Kings.”

The “King Inna Earth” singer managed to achieve a feat many local artistes have found hard to do: dethrone the legendary Bob Marley’s posthumous compilation album “Legend” from the number 1 spot on the iTunes Reggae Charts.

Javaun Fearon, popularly known as Masicka, took to his Instagram to share his achievement of securing the number 1 and 2 spots on the US iTunes Reggae Chart, both versions of the same album. The 29-year-old artiste posted a screenshot of his achievement with the caption, “The work never stop. We forever grateful. Swamp nuh ramp. Memba gud. Generation of Kings”.

The 17-track album, which dropped early on Friday, has received praise on social media and features several artistes including Spice, Popcaan, Dexta Daps, Chronic Law, and Lila Iké.
