Dancehall Star Masicka’s latest LP, entitled "Forever Reign" has earned the highest debut so far this year, on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
This, as it entered the coveted chart at No. 4.
Forever Reign marks the latest evolution of the artist whose uncompromising lyricism, storytelling and ambition have helped establish him as one of the leading voices of his generation.
This makes Masicka the first Dancehall artist so far in 2026 to debut in the Top 5.
The project features collaborations with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, dancehall artist Kraff Gad and reggae singer Lila Iké, while production throughout the album includes contributions from longtime collaborator Mario “Dunw3ll” Dunwell, Dre Skull, Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, Supa Dups, IzyBeats, Dready, Telz, Razzy and others.
Forever Reign is Masicka’s third consecutive charting album, following 2021’s 438 and 2023’s Generation of Kings, both of which opened and peaked at No. 2.
