Today, dancehall star Masicka serves up a brand new single entitled “Life of Sin” via Def Jam Recordings.
The track notably arrives as his first release of 2026, and it heralds the release of more music to come very soon. Masicka is also preparing to release his third studio album later this year.
Produced by Leon “Kabba” Brown and Lenoi Bent, “Life of Sin” brings Masicka back to the streets.
On the track he ponders survival, ambition, loyalty, and the pitfalls of success. At the same time, he shrugs off the opposition and grins, “They’ve been asking what I up to, stacking paper as usual,” going on to slyly confess, “I love this life of sin.”
Remaining prolific, it lands in the wake of 2025’s Her Name Is Love EP.
Billboard hailed it as “a tender new EP dedicated to the ladies,” and Okayplayer applauded it as “a lighter, more loving atmosphere that still carries the edge that has defined his signature sound.
Hitting another benchmark, Masicka garnered a nomination for “Best Caribbean Music Act” at the 2026 MOBO Awards, scheduled for March 26th at Co-op Live in Manchester, UK.
