Dancehall superstar Masicka made his big debut on the billboard this week with his surprise album ‘438’, which was released on December 3 via Genahsyde/1syde Records.

Sales tracker MRC Data reports that the album sold 2,864 in equivalent album units, 733 of which were pure album sales. ‘438‘ earned the second-best first-week sales for Dancehall albums of 2021, one spot behind Bob Marley and the Wailers on the Reggae Billboard Charts.

Bob Marley and the Wailers’ ‘Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ is firmly planted in the number one spot and is the best selling Reggae album of 2021, registering its 101st straight week on the charts.

Sean Paul’s ‘Dutty Classics Collection‘ re-enters at number three, while Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy drops at four.

Adding more to the artiste’s success, the album has ranked in the top 10 for Apple Music in 73 countries worldwide. It also holds the number one spot for iTunes’ Reggae Album Chart in Jamaica, Canada, the United States and several other countries.
