Jamaica continues to receive strong responses from both local and international artistes.
The Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sport, Olivia "Babsy" Grange, announced the "I Love Jamaica" concert series, which aims to raise US$1 million for national recovery and relief efforts.
Initially, the concert was planned for the National Stadium carpark; however, it has been changed to a virtual telethon for next week Sunday, November 16.
The event starts at 3:30pm and end at 10:30pm.
Several artistes are already confirmed for the upcoming event. Christopher Martin, Maskica and Nigy Boy are already confirmed to be on the lineup!
The show will be broadcast live from CPTC Studios.
The event is also expected to be supported by former Prime Ministers: PJ Patterson and Bruce Golding.
The "I Love Jamaica" concert series will run for five shows, with all proceeds going to support the nation’s recovery from Hurricane Melissa.
Details for additional concerts will be announced soon.
