R&B singer Mario is shutting down rumours of tension between him and R&B icon Monica.
The "You Should Let Me Love You" singer is insisting that “it’s all love” despite recent social media speculation.
The rumour mill started to churn when Mario made a surprise appearance on Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" Tour. Mario thanked Brandy, not Monica, and then Monica uploaded a post thanking everyone who showed up, but not Mario.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club earlier today (November 19), Mario clarified that he was brought out during Brandy’s set, hence his gratitude towards the "Have You Ever Singer" and praised Monica as “amazing”.
The "Just A Friend" star called the chatter “crazy" and emphasized that there was no hidden intent behind his comments and that he supports both artistes.
Mario also brushed off jokes about becoming an “R&B villain,” saying he has no interest in embracing a darker persona.
