The 11-track project follows the singles “Type Dangerous”, which earned Best R&B at the 2025 MTV VMAs and marked Carey’s 50th Billboard Hot 100 hit, as well as her first No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay in nearly 20 years and “Sugar Sweet,” featuring dancehall sensation Shenseea and Kehlani.

The album also includes collaborations with Anderson .Paak and The Clark Sisters.

Also dropping new music today (Fri) is Doja Cat, whose 15-track album 'Vie' features a guest appearance from SZA.

The album includes the lead single “Jealous Type,” performed at the 2025 VMAs with saxophonist Kenny G.

Doja has described 'Vie' as a more pop-focused project than her 2023 rap album Scarlet, exploring themes of love, romance, and intimacy.
