The St. Catherine Police are continuing the manhunt for the suspect being sought in relation to the sexual assault and murder of a young girl yesterday (Fri).
Dead is 9 year old Kelsey Ferrigon, of Job Lane in Spanish Town. A student of St. Johns Primary School.
The police have listed Giovannie Ellis, otherwise called "Coolie Man', as a person of interest.
Reports are that at about 8:00pm, Kelsey's partially naked body, was discovered upside down inside a barrel at her home.
The girl's body appears to have been beaten and investigators theorize that she was raped.
Crime Officer for Area Five Deputy Superintendent of Police Balvey Thomas, is urging anyone with information, that can assist the investigation to contact the police.
