Man Held In Relation to Murder of Chines e Couple in St. Elizabeth

A man, who police had listed as a person of interest in the murder of a Chinese couple in St. Elizabeth last year, has been held by the St. Ann police.
The couple, who operated the Jojo Supermarket, in Southfield St. Elizabeth, was shot and killed during a robbery, on December 23.
Head of the St. Ann police, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell said, while he can confirm that a man is being held by the police in relation to the Chinese couple’s murder, details cannot be offered, as an investigation is ongoing.
SSP Powell noted, however, that the man has been listed as a person of interest in two other police divisions.
