Dancehall artiste Malie Donn is gearing up for the release of his debut studio album, The Golden Child, promising fans a fresh musical direction that pushes his creative boundaries.
Speaking with The Zee during his promotional tour, the entertainer revealed that the 21-track project forced him outside his usual comfort zone as he experimented with new sounds designed to appeal to a wider, more diverse global audience.
Among the project's standout tracks is “Holiday” (Track 10), which officially dropped recently. The artiste, whose real name is Kimalie Hylton, revealed that the track was actually recorded a year ago before making the final cut for the album tracklist.
Addressing questions regarding the notable absence of his popular hit single “Van Cleef,” Malie Donn expressed complete confidence in the upcoming body of work, assuring fans that The Golden Child stands firmly on its own merits.
The Golden Child is scheduled for official release on September 4.
