Over 150 primary and secondary school students were gifted text books, by Member of Parliament for St James central Heroy Clarke, on Sunday.
The students got at least 4 text books during a handing over ceremony at the Montego-Bay civic centre.
The recipients are non path students, and students who did well in this years viagra us pep exams.
The books were provided by stationary world.
Mr Clarke said the initiative, which is funded by the government, is aimed at helping parents and children who are struggling, to prepare for the resumption of school, next month.
