Fans are expressing concerns for Ludacris after the rapper posted a video of himself drinking water directly from a glacier in Alaska.
Yesterday (August 26), the rapper and actor shared a video of the moment on social media, revealing that drinking glacial water had been on his bucket list. In the video, Luda fills up his flask with the ice-cold water, takes a sip, and then excitedly shouts, "Oh my God!" before running away in excitement.
The “Get Back” singer captioned the post with, "Water So Good It Tastes Like GOD Made It. Well, Because He Did."
Shortly after the post, several fans and celebrities voiced their concerns. O'Shea Jackson Jr., son of Ice Cube, commented on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "…how long ago did he shoot this, and have we been monitoring him?"
Jackson and others on social media warned of the potential risks of drinking untreated glacial water. Jackson even shared a video of a man who recounted being sick for two weeks after drinking glacial water.
Late last night (August 26), Luda took to X (formerly Twitter) with an update for his concerned fans. He said the glacial water made him feel "extra hydrated" and added, "As I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same... time," describing the experience as making him feel like "Superman."
