American singer Lizzo is back in full swing and sought clarification from Carisha about a remark the City Girl made.
The “Truth Hurts” singer recently reached out to Yung Miami to address comments about her weight made during an interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay.
During the interview with Sharpe, the “Rap Freaks” singer said, “I’ma just use Lizzo for example. Everybody was all, ‘Oh my God, she’s so fat!’ She looks so good now, and now it’s like, ‘Oh my God, ew! She need to stop!’ Pick a side.”
Unclear about the intent behind an “ew” remark, Lizzo confronted Yung Miami during a livestream conversation.
Yung Miami explained that her comment was meant to shed light on the impossible beauty standards women endure, where no matter what they do, criticism follows.
Lizzo understood and agreed, and the exchange ended on a positive note.
