Singer Lizzo has responded after a court dropped fat-shaming claims made by three former backup dancers in her ongoing lawsuit.
Earlier today, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself captioned with the court's findings, while maintaining her innocence.
The "Truth Hurts" singer said the dancers were fired for secretly recording her without consent, not for weight gain, a finding upheld by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
Court records show the recording was shared with a former employee.
Lizzo’s lawyers said 18 witnesses denied the fat-shaming allegations.
While those claims are no longer part of the case, other accusations, including harassment and false imprisonment, remain active.
Lizzo has denied all wrongdoing and says she is confident she will prevail.
