Liverpool are still on course to win four titles this season, after producing a gallant effort yesterday (Tues), to overcome a two goal first half deficit, enroute to recording a sensational 3-2 win over Villarreal, in the return leg of their Champions League semi final tie.
The effort cemented them their third Champions League final in three years, as they advanced 5-2 winners on aggregate.
A valiant performance from the home team saw them taking a third minute lead through Boulaye Dia, before Francis Coquelin scored a second in minute 41.
However, the visitors regained the advantage with 3 goals, in 12 second half minutes, to seal their place in the Championship decider.
Semi final action continues today with Real Madrid entertaining Manchester City.
