The memoir of the late Lisa Marie Presley, “From Here to the Great Unknown,” revealed a few things about her relationship with the late musical legend, Michael Jackson.
The former couple became romantically involved in 1994, while Presley married her first husband, Danny Keough.
Presley being married was not a deterrent for MJ, though, who professed his love for her by telling her, “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m completely in love with you. I want us to get married and for you to have my children.”
The American singer said that though she did not respond immediately to the iconic pop star, she felt that she was in love with him too.
Soon after, Lisa Marie parted ways from her husband, and the two became a couple. They then got married in 1994, after her divorce was finalised.
In the memoir, Presley stated that MJ told her that he was still a virgin. "I think he had kissed Tatum O'Neal, and he'd had a thing with Brooke Shields, which hadn't been physical apart from a kiss. He said Madonna had tried to hook up with him once, too, but nothing happened. I was terrified because I didn't want to make the wrong move.”
The pair divorced in 1996.
Presley’s daughter, Riley Keough, finished her late mother’s memoir after listening to tapes her mother recorded before she died in 2023.
