Former Minister of Parliament Lisa Hanna highlights her ‘bestie’, dancehall superstar Spice, in a new Instagram reel.
The two women have enjoyed a close friendship for a few years now de-spite the wild difference in their lifestyles. The public has been privy to the respect between them through supportive social media comments and real-world collaborations. Most notably, Hanna declared Spice, or as she refers to her, Grace, as a phenomenal woman in a sweet birthday post on the entertainer’s birthday last year, and Spice performed in Hanna’s constituency in 2020.
The latest display of the relationship between the pair comes from a post by the politician with her and Spice strolling through what appears to be an airport hallway, laughing and chatting along the way. The post was captioned “Wi inna different category, dem cyaan bother wi bestie”, complete with Spice’s signature blue hearts, accompanied by her tune Different Category.
Spice commented, “My Bestieeee I love you so much. 😘 I try so hard to be more Demure like you and more mindful, but it nah work out at all if them trouble mi, dem know how it go. Lmao, 2 different Women with the same love for each other.” to which politician Lisa Hanna responded, “Boy Grace I have no words to tell how much I love and appreciate you just the way you are.”
