Lila Iké is clearly having her Grammy moment, and she is taking it all the way to the big stage!
The "Where I'm Coming From" singer is riding a major wave of international success as she prepares to perform at the official opening ceremony of the 68th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday.
Earlier today (January 28), the Manchester-born artist, who is a first-time nominee in the Best Reggae Album category, shared the exciting news on social media, calling it a dream come true.
Iké reflected on her childhood love for singing in her caption stating, "I remember the little girl who loved singing and decided she wanted to be an artiste 🥹💙✨ attending the GRAMMYs was a very big dream of hers 🙏🏽✨ Now not only do I get to walk the red carpet 💃🏽as a Nominee but I’m also honored to be performing at the opening ceremony 🤯🙏🏽

Adding to the milestone, Lila Iké is the only woman nominated in the Best Reggae Album category this year, competing alongside Vybz Kartel, Jesse Royal, Keznamdi, and Mortimer. Her debut album Treasure Self Love has earned widespread praise and features collaborations with H.E.R, Joey Badass, and her mentor Protoje.
If she takes home the trophy, Iké would become just the second woman ever to win Best Reggae Album, following Koffee.
The 2026 Grammy Awards will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and all eyes will be on Jamaica’s rising star.
