Reggae Month celebrations are in full swing, with live concerts and cultural festivals honouring Jamaica’s rich musical heritage. The Zee attended one such event earlier this week—Tuesday Service at The Compound, 3 Lancelin Avenue, Kingston 10. The weekly showcase features a live band, guest performances, and an open mic segment, bringing together music lovers and creatives.
Among the night’s standout performers was Lila Ike, who took the stage alongside 1 Wurl Band. The Zee caught up with the “Fry Plantain” singer backstage to talk about Reggae Month and what’s next for her in 2025.
