After years of waiting, Lila Ike fans' dreams are finally coming true!
This morning (July 1), the Jamaican singer-songwriter officially announced her debut album titled Treasure Self Love.
The album is set to be released on August 22, 2025.
In an Instagram post, showcasing what seems to be the album art, Lila shared the emotional message about the project. “Phew! 😭😭🥺😭 Where do I beginnnnn… wow! My whole heart,” she wrote. “The word release has taken on a whole new meaning for me.”
The "Where I'm Coming From" crooner revealed that the album has been four years in the making and the journey has been filled with lessons in "patience, passion, and surrender", noting that although the timeline wasn't what she initially planned, it was exactly what she needed. “I needed that time to truly learn, grow, and #TreasureSelfLove,” she added.
“I love music, man - and I’m honored to finally say: my first album. My baby. My heart. My treasure. My love,” she continued.
Scores of fans and fellow celebs showed their support in the comments. Stars like Romain Virgo, Alaine, Protoje, Davina Bennet, Yendi Phillips and Cham celebrated this milestone.
