Lil Nas X is recovering after revealing he was hospitalised for partial facial paralysis.
The 26-year-old shared a video on Instagram showing he was unable to fully smile or move the right side of his face. “This is me doing a full smile right now,” he told fans from his hospital bed.
Despite the scare, Nas later assured everyone he was in good spirits, writing, “Stop being sad for me! [Turn up] for me instead!”
In a follow-up post from home, he said his condition was already improving, though he was still having trouble closing his right eye. “Smile getting a little better,” he wrote.
Fans and friends, including Taraji P. Henson, sent well wishes. While he hasn’t confirmed the cause, many believe it could be Bell’s palsy.
For now, Lil Nas X is staying positive as he continues to heal.
