Lawsuit Against Chris Brown Dismissed

Could Chris Breezy be sitting easy?
The lawsuit filed against R&B artiste, Chris Brown has been dropped.
The assault suit that music producer Abe Diaw filed over a 2023 nightclub incident in London was dismissed with prejudice, which means that the case cannot be brought back to court. This is according to court documents viewed by Billboard.
Although this often suggests a settlement, neither side has confirmed this.
Diaw had claimed Brown hit him with a Don Julio 1942 bottle and stomped on him at Tape nightclub, leaving him unconscious.
Fans are relieved, however, the "Under the Influence" crooner still faces criminal charges.
Breezy was arrested in May and later released on $6.75 million bail. He pleaded not guilty to serious assault on June 20 and is due back in court on July 11. His trial is set for October 2026.
Chris continues his Breezy Bowl XX tour in Europe, with U.S. dates kicking off July 30 in Miami.
