Promoter of Sting Isaiah Laing was in attendance at the media launch of Sting 2024, after handing over the reigns to his son, Tahheer Laing, to lead as Director of Events at Supreme Promotions.
Sting returns to Jam World Dec, 26th.
The senior Laing tells the Zee that despite not playing an integral role in the show's execution going forward, he'll continue to provide guidance & support to his son and his team.
He says the lack of appreciation from the dancehall community, has led to this decision.
He describes those who benefited from the platform & later turned their backs as "Ungrateful".
