Laa Lee has partnered with The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) for the launch of their 15th housing and population Census slated for next month.
This was unveiled during the Launch which was held at the AC Marriott in Kingston on Wednesday.
The ‘Dirt’ artiste will compose the theme song and dance moves for the campaign. He’s also tasked with encouraging Jamaicans to participate in the numeration exercise, which will begin on September 12, 2022.
The project will operate under the theme ‘Yuh count, mi count, all a wi count’.
The 15th population and Housing Census should have taken place in 2021 but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
At the time of the latest census in 2011, Jamaica had a population of 2,697, 983.
