Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian have filed a defamation lawsuit against singer Ray J, accusing him of falsely claiming the Kardashian family is under federal investigation for racketeering.
The lawsuit, filed by high-profile attorney Alex Spiro, points to Ray J’s remarks in the Tubi documentary United States vs. Sean Combs, where he suggested the Kardashians should face RICO charges. He later doubled down in a livestream, saying, “The feds is coming… it’s worse than Diddy.”
Jenner and Kardashian say the claims are “blatantly false” and have caused serious harm to their reputations. The filing also argues Ray J has not moved on from his brief relationship with Kim more than 20 years ago.
The pair famously dated from 2003 to 2006, during which they filmed the now-infamous video that became a launchpad for Kardashian’s billion-dollar empire.
